This crisp and refreshing salsa combines the cool crunch of cucumber with tart apple, juicy tomato, and a hint of heat from jalapeño. Brightened with lemon juice and fresh dill, it’s a perfect topping or dip for any occasion. Adjust the seasoning to suit your taste!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup diced cucumber
  • ½ cup diced tomato
  • ½ cup diced tart apple
  • ½ cup chopped green onions
  • ¼ cup diced red peppers
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp chopped cilantro
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeds removed and minced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Steps
1. In a mixing bowl, mix together all of the ingredients.
2. Adjust the seasoning.
3. Refrigerate for 3 hours before serving.
