Morning Movement Smoothie

Our in-house Naturopathic Doctor has come up with the perfect recipe for you! Try this hydrating smoothie to help gently encourage bowel regularity.
Recipe:
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries or blackberries
- 1/2 cup diced pear
- 1/2 cup chopped spinach or leafy greens
- 2 tbsp pumpkin purée
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1 serving aloe juice (follow label directions)
- 1/2 tsp fresh ginger
- 1/2 cup avocado (optional, but adds extra fibre and healthy fats!)
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or cleanse-approved alternative milk of choice
Pro Tips
- Drink first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, then follow with a glass of warm water.
- Take a gentle walk or do some twisting stretches afterward to help encourage results.
