This delightful summer side dish highlights the crisp sweetness of snow peas and the tender flavour of green or yellow beans. Tossed with a touch of butter, fine herbs, and simple seasoning, it’s a light and refreshing complement to any meal. Serve warm to savour the seasonal goodness!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups snow peas
  • 2 cups green or yellow beans
  • ½ tsp fine herbs
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Pinch of pepper

Steps

1. Remove ends and string from peas and beans. Cut them on the diagonal in 1-inch pieces.
2. Steam them partly uncovered for 2 – 3 minutes.
3. Transfer to a mixing bowl and add fine herbs, butter, salt and pepper. Toss the peas and beans until butter is melted.
4. Serve immediately.
